Zookeeper Horror Game With Mysterious Animal Mutants Gets Release Date

As a huge fan of horror games with a deep love for animals and unique gameplay mechanics, I cannot contain my excitement for Zoochosis! The upcoming zookeeper horror game by Clapperheads and Playworks has officially been given a release date of September 23, 2024. I’ve been eagerly following the development of this title since its announcement back in January, and I can’t wait to put on my bodycam and step foot into the mysterious world of Zoochosis for the first time.

In an exciting reveal for horror game enthusiasts, the anticipated zookeeper title, Zoochosis, unveils its release date: September 23, 2024, as announced in an exclusive IGN trailer. During gameplay, players experience the action through a body-worn camera, creating a distinctive “found footage” atmosphere that developers aim to amplify the fear factor.

In the process of creating our horror game, Clapperheads aimed to provide a unique experience unlike other horror games, thereby exploring methods to maximize fear during a new zookeeper’s initial night shift.

I’ve spent years working in various capacities within the entertainment industry, and I can confidently say that staying ahead of trends is essential to keeping audiences engaged. Recently, I’ve come across an exciting innovation: bodycams for gaming experiences. Having witnessed firsthand the unique perspective they offer, I can’t help but be intrigued.

In the game created by Clapperheads and Playworks, you’ll encounter strange animals with mutations and be responsible for their well-being. Unravel mysteries as you attempt to save these creatures, each with its own unique ending based on your decisions regarding which characters to protect – as mentioned by Zoochosis.

On your initial night duty at Zoochosis, you encounter an unusual phenomenon where certain animals are inexplicably transforming into mutated forms.

Based on the announcement from Zoochosis X’s Twitter account, the game had amassed approximately 300,000 wishlists by the end of June. During Summer Game Fest in June, developers presented the game to the public, allowing attendees to try out the demo for the first time. The game was initially announced in January, and with the release date of September drawing near, fans won’t have to wait long before they can join those who have already tried the demo and experienced the game themselves.
